Aligning a Bank’s Future Strategy with Millennial Needs and Preferences


The Challenge

How can this bank create a portfolio of products and solutions to acquire and retain Millennials inside and outside its retail footprint?


Our Approach

We explored drivers of change in financial services and developed future dynamics based on the outlook for saving, borrowing, transacting and investing. Then we profiled these trends in the U.S. MONITOR, through the lens of MindBase, and defined unique Millennial cohorts and their attitudes and needs in this sector.

The Insight

Insights were compiled and pressure tested in client working sessions to define innovation platforms and opportunity areas for the bank to pursue yielding a strategic blueprint for growth.


The Impact

The bank has launched two new services targeting Millennials with the aim of becoming the trusted advisor to a new generation of banking customers.
